Comment:

Back in '03 I went through a bit of an "incredibly strange music" phase, largely driven by Otis Fodder's 365 Days mp3 project. This... thing here is made up of tracks I found back then via Otis Fodder and like-minded sites such as April Winchell, Sharpeworld, etc. (Except for "Expletive Inserted", which is a sketch by some people who used to do a show on radio station 2RRR in Sydney that I'd downloaded long beforehand, but it fits in with this other stuff.) A surprisingly hard mix to pull off; once I'd worked out what tracks had to be on it, getting the actual running order right proved quite difficult, and I made my last tweak as I was entering it here.

Not even I will make any great claims as to this being a mix that you'll want to listen to over and over, but I think it's an... interesting listening experience. If you are mad enough to want a copy of this, then you probably deserve one. However, I take no responsibility for any injuries you may choose to inflict upon yourself after hearing some of these tracks. And if you think some of this looks dodgy, you should see some of the crap (such as Nichelle Nichols' vocal version of the Star Trek theme) I left off...

A lot of it looks a bit off, but in a fun way. Always good to see a mix from you, my friend. Happy new year!

Lots of "favorites" here. Fun, weird stuff. I was addicted to 365 Days for all of 2003 and all of the other similar sites. It's not something you can play everyday (at least I can't), but when you need that jolt of the bizarre this is good stuff!
I was glad to see somebody archive the 365 postings. And if you haven't already, you may want to check out the Kidde Records site from the same folks that do the excellent MP3 site Basic Hip. Man, the internet is a wonderful thing. -Dale

Bloody hell, this is cool. I'm sure the "dodginess" adds to the overall effect, and it's great to see something this unique around. I'd love to hear it. Well done you :)

Wonderful stuff! "I Want a Monster to Be My Friend" is delightfully disturbing (and disturbingly delightful) - as is most of the rest.

superb stuff. I love this kind of mix. You should here Bill Hicks talking about "Satanic Meggaes" in rock music. He says "Anyone who listens to music backwards, IS Satan". I'd love a copy of this and some of your other stuff, if you're interested in trading, please e-mail me when you have time. Cheers!
