This is a !TORTURE BATTLE MIX-TAPE! FOR USE IN... A !TORTURE BATTLE MIX-TAPE...BATTLE! http://www.chunklet.com/issue_19_torture.cfm
a strange and somehow enjoyable endeavor. almost like something from a Thomas Bernhard book. it didn't turn out quite as nasty as i intended. i guess i just didn't have it in me to channel truly evil moments into the mix. i had some brighter death now and other stuff that was meant to go in. ah well. hopefully, it should still be maddening if not horrific. also, some of this is stuff i like to listen to in a non-torture context, but in this relentless setting it should work ok. yeah!!!!!
some tracks i got from- http://www.ubu.com/outsiders/365/index.html , which is an awesome resource. and the robert alberg song i downloaded from this excellent music blog- http://www.editionmanifold.com/weblog/blog.html , i don't think it's available any more though.

This is very cool indeed! Well executed - obviously Diamanda Galas, Swans, NWW and Throbbing Gristle are great, but yes, they have their moments. I like the Ace of Base pick at the end...I can only imagine how "IIIII saw the SIGN!" would sound at the end of this.
