Being the Smashing Pumpkins fanatic that I am, I like to make mixes for people who are not (to try to convert them maybe?). This is a mix of non-album tracks that I made for J. And, no, I do not consider Machina 2 to be their last studio album (Machina 1 would be their last). This mix includes songs from the boxed set, Adore demos, Machina 2, etc.Feedback:
Stunning. Said Sadly, Set the Ray to Jerry, Let Me give The World To You, The Last Song, and (espcially) Pennies are some of my all time favorite Pumpkins tracks. What version of If There Is A God did you use?
I used the version that features just Billy and a piano. It's raw. I've heard the other version(s) and didn't like it as much, but I don't remember what it was like. Was there more instrumentation or different lyrics or what?
I'm with you. The piano version is way better than the full band.
Love the mix. You should check out "The Aeroplane Flies High" or "Drown" if you haven't already. Those are probably my favorite Pumpkins' b-sides.
