Comment:
A paired set of mix CDs for the experimental-music DJ at the student radio station, where I do a retro show. After discussing certain bands and music in general, we decided to swap mixes, and my one became two (as it usually does). Side 1 is the more experimental mix (collapsing), side 2 the poppier (this is pop?).Feedback:
The Psycomodo - one of my absolute faves!
good call!
good call!
One word: brilliant (!!!)
Lots of blasts from the pasts here fro me. I love the XTC, Jam, Buzzcocks, EC & Richard Hell cuts especially. good stuff!
There's only one of these songs I don't own in vinyl and that's Zolar-X (which I don't really know what it is actually), what will that say about this mix, great of course
Two words: fucking brilliant (!!!!)And I'm with Gerry on the XTC, Jam, Buzzcock, EC & Richard Hell.
TrTs TrTs Bon.
Man, this is fantastic.
Dig side two a whole lot.
really great mix! god i love that tubeway army song.
Awesome mix. One great pick after another throughout.
yep - ditto all the other comments. One hellofa great mix. I hope it went down well at the show . . . .
I see more great tracks from '77-'87 here than I can shake a stick at. Wonderful, or, as Jeffrey Lee Pierce told an audience in a bar near Kent State University, "Now I know why they shot four people here."
5 bonus points for your inclusion of Yellow Magic Orchestra. Great job!
Ditto!!
