I did a mix just like this... "It's my wife and it's my life"... not so long ago.
Nice mix. The Stranglers' "Golden Brown" works as well.
Then there's Mary Lou Lord's sublime "Jingle Jangle Morning" ("LSD & ecstasy won't help me, and my dance with Mr. Brownstone got too rough").
Bowie,Velvets,Lennon...cant go wrong...My personal fave would be "Another Girl,Another Planet" by The Only Ones,once described as "could be used as an advert for heroin euphoria"...of course,dont try this at home!
