Comment:
Take 1 blizzard outside, add several hard apple ciders (hic!), combine nearly equal parts ska, classic soul and country blues, sprinkle with some key proto-rock-n-roll cuts and... and... and...mmmmm.... niiiiiice...
Feedback:
Superb!!
Howdy Erik! - We're only getting aboout 5 or 6 inches so far here, but still inside (for now). As Lawrence Fishburne says in Boyz in the Hood when the Stairsteps come on the radio "I love that song". Me too. This looks quite excellent. We need to do another trade sometime!
This looks fantastic.
Nothing like a blizzard induced mix! As soon as the Mrs. steps away from the stereo I intend to the same. Love the Louis Prima opener and Wanda Jackson.
Oh man! This looks great - loveomg tje Wanda, the Imperials, and the Junior Wells among others. It just started snowing here a few moments ago, but I'll likely be snowed in tomorrow & may well be posting some new mixes as well.
Just good stuff!
Awww, this looks wonderful. Keep drinking the cider, put on this mix, work up a sweat, and laugh at the blizzard.
One monkey don't stop no show. Or no blizzard either. Cool mix!
Great mix--best way I know of for beating the Midwestern winter blues!
This looks awesome, some nice mixing of genres: reggae, funk, swing, a little blues -- all tres cool. I wouldn't mind trading for this if you're interested.
This makes hibernation bear-able. Keep quaffing the cider!
Nothing like a blizzard to induce some guilt-free mix time. Nice results & keep the cider coming!
Great, great, great.
outrageously fun!
Shout it out, brother. Testify!
Damn..,I don't think I can top the Saafian exhortation, make mine a double.
great mix, just in my taste right now
Wonderful mix full of great picks.
On hard apple cider? I'm damn impressed!! I also hate snow but if it could stir up this sort of mix in me then I could live with that. :) Love the second half especially.
Ken Boothe and Blind Willie McTell!? I'm impressed! Can't wait for the next blizzard to come. Hic! Well done!
WOW and WOW!!
And an extra WOW for Funnel Of Love!
