Take 1 blizzard outside, add several hard apple ciders (hic!), combine nearly equal parts ska, classic soul and country blues, sprinkle with some key proto-rock-n-roll cuts and... and... and...

Howdy Erik! - We're only getting aboout 5 or 6 inches so far here, but still inside (for now). As Lawrence Fishburne says in Boyz in the Hood when the Stairsteps come on the radio "I love that song". Me too. This looks quite excellent. We need to do another trade sometime!

Nothing like a blizzard induced mix! As soon as the Mrs. steps away from the stereo I intend to the same. Love the Louis Prima opener and Wanda Jackson.

Oh man! This looks great - loveomg tje Wanda, the Imperials, and the Junior Wells among others. It just started snowing here a few moments ago, but I'll likely be snowed in tomorrow & may well be posting some new mixes as well.

Awww, this looks wonderful. Keep drinking the cider, put on this mix, work up a sweat, and laugh at the blizzard.

This looks awesome, some nice mixing of genres: reggae, funk, swing, a little blues -- all tres cool. I wouldn't mind trading for this if you're interested.

Nothing like a blizzard to induce some guilt-free mix time. Nice results & keep the cider coming!

On hard apple cider? I'm damn impressed!! I also hate snow but if it could stir up this sort of mix in me then I could live with that. :) Love the second half especially.
