This is a mix I made for myself, in October of last year, to celebrate a landmark birthday. I am pleased with the way the mix flows. Though this was purely a happy accident, as the song selection process became kinda hodge podge after a while. For this mix, I originally had a Logan's Run theme in mind; songs like "Run" or ominous and New Wave sounding tunes such as "Down In The Park", "24h Candy Machine" or "Seventeen." But then I started to include a few birthday and October themed songs and some inside jokes ( "Making Plans for Nigel") that just seemed to fit. Finally, I just figured I would make the rest of my choices a time capsule of new songs I have found throughout the year. So... not what I had planned exactly, but still a pretty pleasing and eclectic marker for my past year's existence. The cover design is made to resemble a "Sandman's" uniform, because they are cool.Enjoy!
