Comment:

Another one from my recent self-improvement series, this one being a remake of what may likely be my most frequently requested mix. Always felt badly about the poor sound quality on the mostly vinyl derived original. This time out the focus really is on creating a very Wes Anderson-like soundtrack to a film based on my favorite turned-on comic.

I really like the King Kong-Wah Wah combo and the Nazz-Merry Go Round-Who run.

Nice reissue! Many amazing selections to be found. I wonder how Margo Guryan feels about being the sole female amongst all the hairy men.

Quite brilliant. I had that kickin' nazz tune opening my last but one mix. The rest is superb. Great cover too.

This is truly awesome. It contains my fave Gene Clark moment EVER - I just about worshipped that Byrds' tune when I first heard it (good lord - over 20 years ago!). Everything here is wonderful.

Fantastic. This was one of your Mix-of-the-Weeks, as I recall, and has always been a favorite of mine. But this new version is to die for, really. I'm sure we'll be trading again soon, so please save a copy for me.

Hard (as Hell) to pick a favorite among the many great lo-fi jr mixes I have, as I stare at a stack of 'em; but this is certainly among them! You say it's better? Hmmm. I am reminded of a line in the Princess Bride:
INCONCEIVABLE!

Is Jimmy sucking or blowing? Hmmm, doesn't really matter, does it? A great reissue Jim. Love the Ringo Starr through George Harrison bit especially.
