Comment:

A new pop mix, as you can clearly see. Can't recall the name of track 3 - it's on a single for which I can't locate the sleeve. This mix ends with what some may consider a dubious choice - I tell ya ... the song still makes me a bit teary. But maybe I'm a wimp. Anyway, I've backed off the pop lately - this is an anniversary mix, to celebrate the beginning of my 4th year on AotM. I started off posting pure pop mixes .... and look at me now! Thanks to Gerry and Valis for trackage.

Great mix of psych and pop. Particularly like the Embrooks and I'm sure the SOOL track is a winner, whatever it is. I, too, wish you a happy anniversary.

Looks pretty damned great. Happy anniversary (yikes, my 5th anniversary either just happened or is about to do so)! I love that Teenage Fanclub track, particularly.

Lots of cool picks. Beau Brummels, Supergrass, Teenage Fanclub, Kinks, Hoodoos in particular. Like that Oasis too.

Wasn't "Shannon" about a dead dog? I remember it being a big hit back in, like, 3rd grade. Had that creepy falsetto chorus.

Embrooks... cool. Surely it's "Gideon Gaye," right? Now get back to the usual trash please.

Most excellent 4th anniversary mix mr. lally. You're now a big bad senior amongst juniors and freshmen. Yes, Shannon was written about Carl Wilson's dog, who sadly drifted out to sea one day.

Happy anniversary. A fine mix to celebrate and that Henry Gross capper is fine with me...not that you need my permission mind you.

Poppy, giddy, & electric mix. If anything could justify the "smile" emoticon, this would do it, but I think this calls for a real smile . . .

I'm prepared to smile because you're even on AoTM! Most of this is, of course, unknown to me, but I'm sure it demostrates that verve and cheer you like so much!
