Comment:

after having a discussion with Mike the pike about that Paul Heaton from the Beautiful south made his own top 10 list every month, I decide to burn down my most played song every month from now on (this could end pretty soon but could also go on forever) mostly new stuff, that I bought or downloaded recently but also some odd favs from the past, no rules at all

Cool idea from wherever. Some interesting stuff on your plate. How do you keep track of it all... keep a journal or something or maybe only clean up the pile of CDs once a month. Or if you play everything through your computer there would be software to keep track. Just musing on this.

I like the idea of being able to get a glimpse of what you've been listening to; I know it's always going to be interesting!

Ditto George...maybe set up an Excel spreadsheet with monthly columns; then your "Best of '05 would simply be a subset of the various monthly lists.

Looks quite intriguing. I'd love to hear this... and I'd love to see some of Paul Heaton's top ten lists. I wonder if he still makes them?

Killer opener, and I just heard the Lemon Jelly at a store yesterday and really liked it. I also love the Futureheads and several other gems here.
