Comment:
Gonzo endings courtesy of Mogwai, Queens & the latter Sonic Youth tracks. A few culls from All Tomorrow's Parties 2.0. I wanted the transition from With Portfolio to I Only Said to be instant but there's s asecond or so delay that ruins the effect I got on my computer. W.P (as I hear it)ends at around the same pitch as I.O.S starts, sounds really cool when they follow each other instantly. I was aiming for very sad to slightly (but only slightly) cheerier as the mix progresses. The photo is by Roger Mayne. I saw it ont the cover of Steve Pile's 'The Body and the City'. I emailed him to find out who took the photo and he emailed back, nice chap. He emailed me the preface which went into much more detail of the aesthetics and such like of the photo, I'll gladly email it to anyone as interested in it as I was. Cheery oh.Feedback:
Beautiful mix Jay B. Really nice touch. (That's a great cover image, too. A bit blurry.)
what i know is lovely. Strange picture - Helmut Newton out of focus??
