Comment:

Been meaning to do a Bad Ass Bass mix for sometime now, when I'm listening to music I always seem to follow the bass. Had so many tunes think this will run for 3 or 4 volumes. Thanks to Joe Gillis1 for trax 5 & 11.

Nice; and bass is the place...I often listen to a song several times in a row, following the bass & drum lines until I achieve a neural imprint.

Looks great, Cliff. I too tend to follow the bass in a song. A lot of Olivia Tremor Control songs have great bass lines like "Jumping Fences".

I'm always a sucker for a big thumping bass line, so ditto CurtisQuite a lot here is new to me, so I'll look forward to hearing it.

Beautifully Baddd...mmm!(the line of the spine) Great to see also that "Vol.1" suggests further incursions into this Booming Sonic territory! Man the apparatus! Lower, lower, lower-DIVE!

Very groovy indeed - I don't use that word often, but somehow it seems appropriate here. :) Love: the Snow Patrol, Clash (although my favourite Clash song with bass is Guns of Brixton), Shop Assistants and J&MC. Will get in touch with you about trading soon, but this definitely looks like it would be a good candidate!

This whets my appetite for volumes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9. Would La Poste be up for facilitating a trade, perhaps?

i fuckin' love it. being a bass player myself, i am always listening to the bass lines in songs, and your selections are definitely choice. the next volume should include primus, tho.

Monsieur...Thanks for the nice comments recently...This mix looks excellent. I've always been a sucker for a clever bass line. Seems to be the instrument of choice for eloquent statements and simply put articulation. I've always loved the basslines in just about every Primal Scream number. Rock on!
