Comment:
A lot of the songs on this playlist have come to my attention in one way or another in the past month. The Ray Charles Song I started spinning after watching "RAY" on dvd recentlly...the Scissor Sisters I heard at an amazing club gig that they did two weeks back...and "Dirty Water" I started listening to while reading Stephen King & Stewart O'Nan's great book "Faithful" about the 2004 Boston Red Sox. I have fun listening to this one, and have really started to love the 2Pac song that ends it off. The title comes from a sign that a family friend saw in a barber shop window in a slightly shady part of town. Sadly, he actually considered taking advantage of the deal...he was successfully talked out of it though. Cheers! -Famous.Feedback:
Awesome opener and lots of great songs here.
I also enjoy this list... and you're just *STARTING* to enjoy Changes? That's been my life's anthem since jr high...
i like this stuff a lot and it's funny that your this month's songs are my last month ones:)
Great. I agree!
Lots of good stuff hear (here).
Very eclectic mix boy-o, especially like the Ferdinand cover and the "Apple Blossom" inclusion is just inspired.
Looking good my friend! I like seeing the variety of artists on here! And one of my favorite White Stripes songs!! Isn't Fran's voice just perfect for that Queen cover? It gets me every time I listen to the song - plus the perfect backing on it - truly a brilliant cover! A great Ted Leo song as well as a kick a$$ Who song!! Great mixin' my friend!!
