Comment:

surely posting a romantic mix and then a break-up mix doesn't make any sense, right? well, this mix took a lot longer to compose because of its recent nature. this could be seen as another ubiquitous break-up mix, blah, blah...but to me, it's not. there are a few songs thrown in due to circumstances (such as "Sex Is Personal" and "Seeing Other People") that are unknowing to the other person, so that throws most people for a loop. it's also about the most personal mix someone can make, so I hesitate to give further details...I took a page out of the High Fidelity soundtrack by using "You're Gonna Miss Me" and "I'm Wrong About Everything", but I can't help it. the title is from a track not used on here, "Pavement Tune" by The Frames, because it sums up my feelings so well. to sum it up really quick: boy and girl are together for a year and a half. boy and girl move in together for six months. one person devitates from said relationship unknowing to the other person. bizarre night filled with subtle fighting insues. girl decides to break it off due to mutual unhappiness. said girl moves out and back home. ack. such is life. break-ups are a bitch, no?
