The Best Songs from the Best Albums of 2004 ... Disc Eight of EightFeedback:
Damn, I'm jealous. You listened to 160 or so NEW albums from 2004. Lots of great albums and lots of great picks from those albums. Things you missed - I think - and I liked: Nellie McKay, the Killers, Phoenix, Cut Copy, Stars, Cam'Ron, Devin the Dude. But man, great series.
Great Sondre Lerche (my favorite song of his), Dizzee Rascal (ditto, at least from that album), and TV on the Radio picks. So... no Nick Cave? If you haven't heard that album, you should--it's his masterpiece. Also, the new Elvis Costello was great, and the new Graham Coxon was my album of the year last year. You should also check out Simon Joyner and the Breakup Society (two separate bands/artists) sometime.
Oh yeah, that Wilco song is a classic, as well, and is my favorite track from that album.
