I'm happy as a clam that Green Day is back on top. Truthfully I have continued to like their music all along (no bandwagon jumping here), so it's just awesome to see that AMERICAN IDIOT was able to tap into a musical nerve of so many at such a timely moment. What we have here is a bet-of spanning from their second indie release KERPLUNK! right up until last year's opus of a rock opera. There were many others that I wanted to include here but weeded out for reasons of timing (including Armatage Shanks, Blvd of Broken Dreams, Espionage, the I Fought The Law cover, and Hold On). Hmmm...perhaps there is enough left over to create a second playlist!! Rock On you Berkley punks you...show all the young pretenders how it's done. Cheers! -Famous.
