My father-in-law is friends with the owner of a coffee shop, and quite benignly asked me if I had ever thought about making a mix-tape about coffee -- and "had [I] ever heard of a song by Frank Sinatra about coffee." It's only one of my all-time favorite songs of any genre. The challenge isn't filling up a CD about songs having to do with coffee -- the challenge is in the mix sounding decent. I humbly submit this list as an attempt.

It's 5:49 a.m. where I'm at, enjoying my 1st cup of the day. Nice mix and theme.

Hi- Eric here, of the Boston band The Cautions- just to let you know, "Coffee Shop Girl" is by us, not by Ozma.

Years ago it was mislabeled on the internet, and we've been trying to set the record straight ever since. You can download our song for free at www.thecautions.com

Thanks, Eric
