Bootsy, Sun Ra, Serge, & Dr John, that's some jive. The Stones "Rainbow" doesn't do much for me, but otherwise I like everything you've done here.

thanks, JDV. Jive was actually the furthest thing from my mind when I did this one. I've been obsessed w/themes of mortality/survival for a while, & this sorta became my New Year's 05/paranoia mix. The title is really just a corruption of the Bolan song, not much more. And "Rainbow" is obvious, but tell me you don't crank it when you can. Anybody with a pulse would. Remember the Ronald Johnson quote--"Matter delights in music, and became Bach." I really think some things are obvious for a reason...
