Comment:
I had gotten an idea of making a CD from songs I had heard in television adverts. I had seen a list from some website called Commercial Breaks and Beats or something. There was just too many to choose from so I decided in the end to focus on music from the Levi's commercials, got me all nostalgic, back in the days when Levis were cool. Useless bit of trivia, Levis wanted Tom Waits original version of Heart Attack & Vine but he refused so they got Hawkins' version. Apparently, Waits was really pissed off and the commercial was pulled after a few days. I also read somewhere that it was not actually Marvin Gaye's version of Grapevine featured in the Launderette commercial.Feedback:
Interesting mix Johnny. Some real classics here, but what's the theme? Have I missed something?
