Comment:

So-named because drummer John McEntire misheard the song title “The C In Cake,” the Sea and Cake is a fabulous experimental pop/indie rock outfit with roots in Chicago. From their eponymous 1994 debut to 2003’s [i]One Bedroom[/i], the band has remained a largely underground delight, full of fused sounds and lyrical invention.
