Stepping out of the ether and into some ozone infused atmospheres & electric currents:

Inspired by the Otso Pakarinen (a.k.a.
Ozone Player) release of
earlier this year, Frozen Paint on Boiling Canvas. Generally not a fan of straight Berlin
School styled electronica, with its synth/bass-driven, beat-repeating "poppy" atmospheres, I find
Mr. Pakarinen's approach to be tight, fresh and invigorating with more than a few hooks &
twists...so I dug out some drubby beats & pulses...und made dis mixshund: 4 parts
Ozone along with some similar Berlin-School patterned grooves...et al; already a favorite in
German discothFques
Shake well!

The Conet Project is some real interesting music/sound. Anyway, I don't know much here, but it looks interesting.

Hmmm, Update a Mix seems not to be working: hHere's a link to Electronic Music; if you scroll down, there's a section on Berlin School electronica.

(That's about all I remember from high school German. That's right, I took German in high school - I like a challenge.)

I ran across those Conet Project samples last year. Was trying to figure out something to do with them for a remix. Looks like you made great use as an intro./outro. Ausgezeichnet!!!
Would love to hear...

Any mix that can be described as "ozone infused atmospheres & electric currents" and "drubby beats & pulses" sounds good to me.... can I please get a copy of this??

Getting into your berlinerverschworung mix. Very nice flow and tracks so far. Especially liked
- phonem : blue skies
- story/roedelius -- I tend to always like Rodelius
- eno --- I don't know this track. Where is it from ?
- greinke (I'm a big fan of his recent things)
Unfortunately have a dislike of all things Bowie. Followed well from the previous one, for sure,
but I don't like either of them - taste issue on my part.

Love the german woman at the end though! :)

Beautiful mix, dreamy ambient sounds mixed in with some tasty crunch from Phonem (check the "Putting the Morr Back into Morrisey" comppilation on Morr Music if you like this track.) Moves into what I would call the 'pretentious grandeur of Vangelis', then steps upwards and sideways with the great Bowie track and the dancefloor throb of Antihouse.
