The mixes of the Box Set are physically burned onto a series of 21-minute CDs (those little ones); the first three are regular CD burns, the fourth contains a single mp3 with the tracks mixed together for flow, a couple radio-style announcements, and a few comedy skits tossed in for flavor. The first mix, the "vinyl mix" (Tracks 1-5), is all music that I have recorded into my computer from various LPs, a few crackles and that warm analog sound all included. Tracks 6-9 are the "red sky" mix, an attempt to make a soundtrack to a warm sunset. 10-13 are "Museum Thoughts", a demo mix of a larger one I'd like to make for listening while perusing the art museum on campus. The final mix, 14-28, is "A Lost Summer," a sequel/companion to a prior mix I've put out for some friends, "The Summer Mixtape of Love, Nostalgia, and Rocking the Fuck Out."
