Comment:

The second of a recurring series. Blips, bleeps and un-Rockmore-like sound effects provided by Man from Uranus (see link above). Much of this material was found on the world-wide-webitron - The Ether Library. To start a search for sounds, history and present state of the Theremin, go here: !
Tracks 3, 6 & 8 graciously provided by our man in the ether field - valis. This mix is for him and all others that care to boogie down at the Ether Disco.

Looks great. Have you checked out this site:
http://www.thereminvox.com It's probably not as comprehensive as the others you've trolled for this stuff but it was the only one I knew of until seeing this. I'd like to trade for both volumes if you're interested.

LOve it, especially the Clara Rockmore. I'm a big fan of theremin music - my last band used one extensively. Very cool.

I've always liked the semi-spooky sci-fi sound of the theremin. Thanx for the links! This looks great!

I'm a Moron-When-It-Comes-to-the-World-Wide-Webitron, but this appears to be totally cool! I love the cover especially, but that's just because the only song I recognize is Eleanor Rigby.

Wow, this is impressive, and thoroughly cool. I think I would definitely like to boogie at the Ether Disco, especially if theremins were involved.
