a mix for Carla, my new uni buddy. twas her birthday a few weeks ago, and i though this would be a nice little present. carla's so sweet. i figured she likes moody, progressive stuff, and maybe some cute little pieces, i threw in a bit of pop sensibility. this was a wild card mix really - i dont know much about her tastes, only her personality. and she's friendly, compassionate, a little sad... it's called 'the sun don't go down' (from 'do you realise') because i thought she would like that line: the sun doesn't go down, it's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round. i wrote inside the cover that this mix was 'a happy/sad exploration with only one conclusion - mixtapes rock). ps the bright eyes pic is in celebration of me seeing him in a week (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) pps. i supported art of fighting last weekend at the heritage hotel (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
