Comment:
My December 2004 contribution to the New York CDMOM club. It of course includes a hidden track or two of its own. [album art full size]Feedback:
this is great! :D
Ooh, I like this idea! Very good.
cool idea.
Clever idea for a mix. Didn't Nirvana have a hidden track or two on their CDs?
Thanks! Some of these hidden tracks turned out to be just short snippets of sound or studio chatter, but I think that gave the disc a nice rhythm.
Moe, I remember when I first bought Nevermind that it had a long hidden track -- or maybe long, long silence, then a hidden track. But then I lost it and bought a new copy years later. No hidden track.
Cool mix.
Great concept. I remember getting to the end of Summer Teeth, then being delighted by the charming "Candyfloss" when it popped up out of nowhere. That said, one thing I really hate are artists who throw on a hidden track at the end of several minutes of silence -- it's a pain to deal with, and if you really want to listen to it more than once you need to rip the track to your pc, cut off the dead air at the beginning, and burn it onto a new disc. Really annoying.
Brilliant idea. Well done!
great idea and mix!
