I had this plan, a few years back, to make a mix for each state in the US. These are some odd, at times cheesy and at times over-the-top mockingly funny, songs about the second state I visited on my musical trip around the country: Florida. The last song, Swanee River, is the offical state song but I must warn you it has a derogatory line in it (Oh darkies, how my heart grows weary // Far from the old folks at home). *sigh* Oh well, no one said Florida was perfect.
