This was sort of an experiment to see if I could create an eclectic mix of tunes tied together by a connective tissue of very short and idiosyncratic bits of music. I edited out most of the silence between tracks so there's very little dead air. You can find the source of the title in the track listing (twice), but the title really has little else to do with the music. Bonus points if you know the true identity of "Bingo Hand Job." Overall, I'm more pleased with this mix than most any other I've done. (A single-CD mix in reality, but with 39 tracks it had to be posted as a cassette.) The cover art, by the way, is a crime-scene photo of the street in Kew Gardens, Queens, where Kitty Genovese was murdered while dozens of her neighbors listened to her screams for help and did nothing.  [album art full size]
