Two disc all Detroit area punk/garage/psych rawk.Feedback:
oh man! This is amazing! I've been totally upstaged. ;)
Tremendous mix!
This is fabulous. Another trade Jim?
Holy crap! Filled with awesomeness from top to bottom, good sir. It may be time to pull the trigger on another trade soon, methinks. (I've got enough stuff built up for a blockbuster if you're interested) ;-)
very, very nice indeed!!!!!!! motor city, here i come!!!!!!
Fantastic! Cool cover, too.
Holy crap is right! It doesn't get any better than this!!
Wow. Excellent!
a little harder then my last one, ;) excellent as usual
nice ode to the city. I used to live there - 84 - 90. Ann Arbor, acutally, after a year or so in the suburb doldrums. Went to the Blind Pig all the time. Ever go there? Some good local bands from that era that I recall were: Black Market, Toby Redd, Tracy Lee and the Leonards. Good memories. One of the best shows I ever saw was Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels at the Blind Pig.
Teriffic!!!
Excellent selections here and great cover art too!
Hey, let's do it to it in Detroit City!
magic stuff, awesome cover
It's a big gas guzzler. Fill 'er up!
Another fantastic installment. I'm sure I'll want one of these someday, as well.
Excellent stuff all round. And a cool cover to boot. Looks like a must have . . . ;)
As somebody who grew up in Detroit, this looks really nice... Good work.
Ditto Steelkillie & Thomas, kin' hell this looks fantastic!
Impressively thorough.
Hell yeah! Detroit scares me, but this mix doesn't. (My first time in Detroit ... even before I left the vehicle ... I witnessed my friend get mugged. Well, he was a drunk and largely harmless mugger, but still!). Love those Unrelated Segments!
it's funny, when i lived near Detroit, i hated it, but i've grown to love it. and to top Sean's story, i once left my car unlocked outside of St. Andrew's Hall during a show. it was still there when we left though--no one was interested in a rusted out '86 Buick apparently. oh yeah, great mix.
Very cool. Great cover and congrats too.
the only thing missing is a Piranhas' track. the best garage punk band of the whole garage rock revival.
High five! Great mix.
Fantastic! and kudos on the MOTW thing. BTW, sent of your mix today.
this looks awesome! just took a peek at all the others in this series - if your up for a trade, let me know.
Nice one!
Congratulations!!!
Offers incontrovertible evidence you grew up all RIGHT !!!
Offers incontrovertible evidence you grew up all RIGHT !!!
Beautiful job, Lo-Fi! And the re-do on the Kiss Alive back cover is nothing short of genius!!!
Gimme danger! Apocalyptic midnight city in flames music, scorching stuff!
