This looks awesone. Some good outlaw, stick-it-to-the-man shit here. #18 sounds like a hoot, and Kinky's always a riot. I'd love to trade for this if you're interested.

Excellent. Not that they'd play this stuff anywhere near a "country" station!

Since I've only been in touch with my inner redneck for a couple of years, I can't claim to be an expert in this field. At all. But if the point is supposed to be that the Shaniaisation of Country is Bad, Mkay, then it's a dumb point. If people get lured into discovering country by a chick playing pop music with her belly out, then that is still good news for "real" country music like *cough* the godawful Asylum Street Spankers. Isn't it? I mean, marijuana's supposed to be an entrance drug, so why isn't Shania? And isn't it pretty pathetic to play the countrier than thou card? It all sounds a little like Punk's Not Dead to me. Which makes the halfwit Jello Biafra's presence a total non-surprise to me.

Yee haw, y'all.

Lovin' it; esp. the Robbie Fulks, and of course the Mojo/Jello combo. You really should hear the Stumbleweeds' wonderful "Nashville to Nashua."
