Comment:

despite the theme of this mix, i'm in a pretty good mood right now but everytime i'm upset, i want a depression mix. unfortunately, i am never in the mood to make one. it's a double edged sword in that way. so this mix is really just presupposing the bad mood i know i will be in in the future. confusing, no? there are some nice and cliched picks on here but they are familiar and cushy and make me happy despite their over arching theme of sadness (so they make me happy right now at least). transitions are pretty nice, if i do say so myself, but then again everything is pretty much the same tempo so it would have been kind of hard to have shitty transitions. also, i'm in kind of a thom yorke mood right now (which is a little odd due to the aforementioned good mood) so that's why he gets two appearances. he's just that special. good job thom. title comes from the magnetic fields song.

i really dig the magnetic fields and suede picks but that smiths song seems a bit too hopeful for a depression mix, so to speak. a fine mix overall.

I love the joy division, and slowdrive songs. Now perhaps you've jinxed yourself, you won't be depressed for awhile, just b/c you made a mix for it. :D

mmm... I like it. Not a single artist represented here that is not close to my heart. Well done.
