Comment:
31. Jeannie Hoffman - Sing Hallelujah
I'm really not feeling well anymore; resembles some hooves stuffed and boiled until they explode.
NB: to the right, the small figurine of some ruminant, facing away from the meal, blessing it with an offering of methane and hay-gas.
Feedback:
Don't know much here, but it sure looks tasty.
Jesus, Cruella, i need a copy of this mix! Not so much for the music, but for the recipe card. This looks like the food Mom used to make, and I just gotta teach Shiela to cook like this!In all seriousness (which is, perhaps, more seriousness than on your entire concoction), you look like you've outdone yourself with this one. Delicious!
What always scares me about Cruella's (in)edible mixes, is how much of the music on them is in my collection. Fortunately for the AotM community, mine is almost entirely on tape or vinyl & I'm far to lazy, er busy, to convert it, so it's unlikely to make its way to my mixes - one cheese goddess is really enough for any site.
And Cru, this is just . . . um . . . yeah. I didn't know Lileks had done recordings as well. Wow!

I love the look of this mix (and the cover) and would like to taste it. What stimulates my appetite are all these great band names and some song titles (Dinner Music for Pack of Cannibals, etc.). Let me know if yu're interested in a trade.
great looking mix!!!!and Thanks for the sounds!!!!!
C this gives me indigestion just looking at the cover. Veritable feast of tasty tunes tho!
Fabulouso...just make sure you wash after this...you know my views on gals & R'n'Roll...actually I quite like the look of this meal...anyway tremendous as ever...& as usual MY MIX OF THE WEEK!
Actually to quote Jim from the other night..'YIKES!'
wow. this is FANTASTIC. and browsing through your history has made today a close second to Christmas. kudos.
The dish looks like something you'd see on Fear Factor, but the mix looks yummy with some tasty ingredients. It would be-hoof you to save me a copy.
Christ I can smell those meaty, sweaty hooves from here. Disgusting. (These are compliments!)
The food and music would make for one out there party. I'm gonna go scrounge through the fridge for something to eat.
Another winner- beautifully garnished!
wowee! quite brilliant, C. As we have come to expect from your good self. So......when are you gonna invite all us AOTM'ers round for a spot of dinner? You have shown your cooking credentials to all, and I think it's time you walked the walk :-)
Heady stuff here!
Ringy dingy doo! Cruella, where do you FIND these out of the way oddities?? I like to think I've been exposed to a FAIRLY wide range of peculiar music, but never until now have I known the glory of the Nutley Brass, the Living Brass, or De Zingende Fresia's! & I'll never be the same . . .
cheesey! I used the Raymond Scott pick on an ultra-lounge mix I did this week. Funny.
