Comment:

A bit of a history of latin (and not Brazilian) music in New York for a friend. Everything was recorded in Nueva York, though most came from somewhere else originally. Ranges from the 40's to a couple of years ago. Was going to be just an intro to Fania & the 60's through the 70's salsa scence, but was broadened quite a bit. There were a lot of songs that I missed, so eventually there will be at least one more volume. I think the Fania Allstars back Celia, but the CD didn't have any other info.
