wow... from VU to Led Zep you really got everything covered on here. I attempted something like this back in 8th grade, but i only got 2 cds, and you've done a much better job! Eagerly awaiting number 9 and 10!

FANTASTIC Kinks, Stones, Donovan and Zep picks. Love the War, Lennon, VU, Hendrix, Dylan, Dead and Neil songs (although, again, I'm kind of sick of that Neil tune and "Sugar Mag"). I like that Doors song against my better judgment (I think that Jim Morrison is the most foolish, most massively overrated rock figure--at least among folks who have any degree of musical taste--in history). Once again, the Beatles are my favorite band, but "Another Girl" doesn't do a whole lot for me (actually, most of the Help! album doesn't thrill me by Beatles' standards); same with the Byrds song, really. And I'm of the humble opinion that the world would have been a better place if Burton Cummings (of the Guess Who) were born mute.... ;-) (I'm just offering these opinions to give you some feedback, btw, not to impose my taste on you. I like the fact that you're compiling these mixes.)
