This 80-minute disc was compiled for a girl who, at the time, seemed remarkably cool, although she knows/knew nothing about "indie" music (she actually asked me if "indie" stood for "Indian" the first time I used the phrase). So it was set up as an intro to a lot that I consider sacred... I think it did the job fairly well, although, as you'll see below, she didn't seem to agree. I wish she would just give it back to me already. The title is from the Posies song.

I have a slightly different version of this mix, which served as my intro to indie music, and it did its job because I am hooked. Thanks Rob!

Half-star deduction for your inclusion of Elliot Smith (god rest his soul), whose music I hate with a passion. But overall this looks fun. I love the opener. I haven't heard it for years. 'Total Peace' was always my favorite from that album. That Posies album is amazing. Oh, and that Ladybug Transistor song is beautiful. Dirty Three are a band I've always wanted to explore but haven't gotten around to it. Same with the Mountain Goats.
