Comment:
Inspired by the smokin' Herman cover (there's an unlisted drop-in from the beatnik episode at the start of the mix), I've recreated my Frankenstein mix as part of the Grown Up All Wrong series. For those of you playing at home -1. A song from the last record you bought (Midnight Evils - Breakin' It Down a boss $3.99 score!)
2. A blues: not necessarily a blues record but a song that is labeled (something) blues
3. A song that gets you going in the morning (The UK "European Son" says Julian Cope)
4. A song that you think is romantic ("I wish I was your dad")
5. One of the earliest records that you can remember listening to (Now I know who to blame)
6. A song that you discovered from a film ("That's bullshit, you're a white suburban punk just like me")
7. A song from your favorite band (I can forgive them up until Some Girls)
8. A song from an artist that you otherwise don't like, but like this one (Just as I must ignore the Bad Brains' later material while enjoying their excellent ROIR tape, so must I separate the first Skrewdriver LP from Ian Stuart's later WP version of the band)
9. A Lullaby (Works every time)
10. A song that makes you laugh / you find funny
11. A really good cover version
12. A song that reminds you of school days (Man, I still wish I went to school with girls like this)
13. A song from an artist that you are embarrassed to admit you like (Even more embarrassed to admit to having played in one of his backing bands)
14. Whatever it is, it's got to be funky
15. A song for those quiet rainy days (Don't think I've ever listened to something produced by Scratch without feeling like I was living underwater)
16. A song with the word 'Look' in the title
17. A song that no matter when you hear it makes you 'Feelgood'
18. From a member of the 'Dead rockers society'
19. Your favorite Elvis song
20. Wildcard - Hey, just put any song you like on! (Extra space allowed for three wildcard picks)
