The ultimate guilty pleasure list (for me). These are the ones you find yourself singing along to in the car without noticing.

The last song on your mix is by Stealer's Wheel (and it's great). I also can't fathom the shame in loving that Todd Rundgren song (or any early '70s Todd, period) or appreciating early '70s Rod (although I understand any Rod being a guilty pleasure after the travesty that he became ca. 1975).

Rob, like I said, they are guilty pleasures for me. They are just cheesy songs to me; as for the stealer's wheel, my id3 tags aren't always right, and for soem reason I just consider it cheesy.

i have to agree with Rob on Todd Rundgren in the early 70s...Something/Anything is an excellent record. i also like the early 70s Rod (Faces in particular.) I also find it amusing that you label Bright Eyes, Dashboard Confessional and Jason Mraz guilty pleasures...having listened to my wife's 16 year old cousin talk about these bands tells me you might be on the right track here...

"Hello, It's Me" is a great, great song. I kinda like it trailing "Maggie May" and "Goodbye Stranger."
