Comment:
Made for krautfreak (but for all to enjoy) and meant to be listened to undivided, in one fell swoop, through his ipod. No bathroom breaks! But it can also be easily divided into three nifty CDs if one so desires.Feedback:
Wow. Massive. And mighty mighty.
a lot of stuff I haven't heard but it looks cool to me anyway
Way cool indeed. Discovered Mulatu Astatque (but seen his name also spelt Astataque too) last year, & you're right fantastic stuff.
Lot's here I'm unfamiliar with, but that I do know (eg This Heat, Fotheringay, Audience, Pop Group, Cristina) is GREAT so no reason to suppose the rest won't be as well
What I know I love: Jack Nitzsche, Terry Allen, Roky, James White & the Blacks...
Impressive output/undertaking.
This is immense and immensely impressive. As always, my hat is tipped to your mixmaking and song choices. Plus, if you've got that Dino Valente (sic) album, we need to talk... ;-)
Wow--this is deep.
a lot here unfamiliar, but what I know I like...
Yes it is indeed. Been seeing a lot of James Chance around here lately too.
this looks really good!!!!!!!
What FLWB said...looks right up k-freak's alley, for sure.
Looks like a wonderful musical journey, Lucie. Lots known & unknown.is that...
Massive & mighty indeed Lucie!
Looks like I need to hook up to Krautfreak's ipod. Don't recognize a majority of what you've compiled here, but I know I love the Bugaloos, Margo Guryan, Scritti P. and Sandie Shaw. Fantastica!
Flying through the clouds, swooping & swirling & looping the loop . . . looks like a fun ride indeed.
Oh shit... Dorothy Ashby.
