77:17 - 6/05 - remastered via Roxio Media Editor

Music...for...thinking;
@ offices & workstations, in cubicles, comtempletive environments & in the l@b.
As one might expect, minimalist & introspective in nature, but not without its own serious edge; the content/context @ once as invisibly transparent as a quiet background fan...or as loud as an abstract painting. Part 1 of 4.

[Thanks to
12vman for the Eno track & to Gary for reminding me of my buried copy of
Tavener's The Protecting Veil]

New solo Eno due out, btw, 6/07/05 - from Rykodisc/Hannibal: "Another Day on Earth" - more-

Aha, used the demo version did you? I've changed (and renamed) that track (as per your/Jim's
feedback) from the demo CD, it's now a bit more percussive and about a minute shorter. But all
that aside, this looks *DREAMY*!!

Many thanks for the 'CUBE' mix CD. Some fascinating material on here. Had never heard
A Produce before and that Smile track is excellent. I know the Johnson , the Eno, and
Saul's track ... all very good. The Nick Parkin / Alio Die was a very enjoyable find for
me. Plus my Exclusion fits right in. Nice mix !

And a cool way to end it with the more up-beat 'Somewhere Current'. Good stuff !

The perfect companion to Sean Lally's "Surfin' Bird" mix.

Very smooth Gene. We've now renamed your mix "Music to Paint by" - I was painting Henry's room with this on in the background. It's cool how it drifts in and out of your consciousness-at times I don't even know it's playing, then the next song comes on. A very thoughtful birthday present. Thanks!

Looks great Gene. Good to see you've taken up with Roxio - let the cross fades beginning :) [Sorry for the delayed comments, too. Been away far too long]
