Comment:
Created as part of a tape exchange. Just let it happen with no pre-planned thought using some suggestions of what to include as guidepost. The Church are indeed covering The Beatles, Nick Cave does the Elvis tune, Johnny Cash transforms the Nick Cave song into his own and Pete Shelley of Buzzcocks fame does a Tom Waits number. Oh and Ben Vaughn does a Lobo cover, almost forgot that one.Feedback:
I forgot that I never commented on this mix - I must do it now, as I dug it out of my tape box this morning and had another listen - and I must say it's great. I love all of it, expecially Gram Parsons, Tim Buckley, the Byrds, etc, etc, etc...
whoa, imagine this boy's surprise... thanks sincerely for the spins... ta.
Wow. R.Stevie...this looks terrific!
