"Tell me, Mrs. Lincoln, did you enjoy the play?"
Comment:
For the hell of it and dedicated to my friend Rich, who would/will love this, should I get around to making him a copy. A moody (but kind of fun in a perverse sort of way) one. Thanks to Orchid for the Erica Pomerance track and to Jana for hipping me to the quality of the Osmium album. Title from Mr. Momus.Feedback:
one of my fav Bowie tracks there, nice
Moody and Fun is my kind of mix!! From what I know here, this looks great.
Nice one. I never get tired of Ali Farka Toure--or Hendrix or Dylan for that matter.
Looks excellent!
Let's hear it for Ike's rap. His live album is choice.
Excellent. Always nice to see James Chance - especially in such great company!
Dig it Rob, especially 3,4,8,13,16 and LOVE 18.
Been really digging Scott Walker recently...great song by him,too...
Like the look of this esp that Denim track!
I base my life on the teachings of that Captain Beefheart tune. Thanks for reminding me that I have yet to fully explore that Erica Pomerance LP.
very cool.
Wow, there are some really inspired moments here. Long moments. 3 to 8 and 13 to 18 in particular.
Erica Pomerance juxtaposed with "Spirit of Eden"-- hmmmmmm..... ;-) This looks very good and I'm glad to see Nilsson making an appearance!
Great mix here, Rob -- although I think the punch line to the joke is actually "Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"
Really nice one, exspecially love that Scott Walker choose.
Fantastic stuff again, Rob. I'll definitely need this someday soon.
Mrs. Lincoln might have found the play to be lacking in originality with a nonsensical plot, but I'm sure she would have loved this mix. I probably would too.
Good lookin' mix, Rob. Have you ever heard Cab City Combo, "Ford's Theater Wipeout"?
