The theme here, as you may have guessed, is songs whose titles begin with letters from the first half of the alphabet (one of each, A through M). The fact that I ended up with A-B-C at the beginning is mostly coincidence; I just thought that those were the best three songs to start with. I had a really hard time sticking to the theme, which is part of the fun of course. This meant thirteen songs, and some of them are rather short; the whole CD is only 41 minutes long.

I figured out the song ordering in my head (all the songs were on my CDs, not already MP3s on my computer), which is the part I find most interesting... I tend to pick the mix songs first and then decide what order to put them in, rather than picking a song and then trying to decide what song should come after it. (Does everyone else do this?) I know nothing about fancy transitions and fading so I just try to see if I can make the connection between one song's ending and the next song's beginning seem reasonably sensible and not too abrupt.

Anyway, once I had finally loaded the songs on to my computer I decided I liked the order just as I had figured it out; only the last two songs are switched around from my original plan.
