Interesting in concept, not quite as satisfying in execution. No offense. Some good songs, but I don't see how they fit the theme (assuming there's supposed to be one with the music selections) and they don't seem very cohesive together. Still, cool idea
ye, an explanation at all??
Well the theme of this mix is based in a science assignment. We had to proportionally relate the major evolutionary events in history to a scale. I chose musical history. I chose to start at the turn of the century so that based on the dates the majority of the songs would be in the 90's. Now to do the turn of the century I had no choice but to start with some rags. Then came A midcentury tune. For that I used the only one I had. After that I had alot more choice. Now if you consider the mix to start after Allison, then it is actually a pretty kicking mix. It holds together alot better than it seems at first glance. What started out as a science project turned into something I have listened to quite a bit. Sorry about the lack of explination, I was in a rush to print out a tracllist.

I guess if you are looking for the songs to relate to the events in theme you are going to be dissapointed. The only places where that work are with "God's Country" and "When The Party Ends".
