Comment:

The title comes from the face that this is really a cobbling together of 3 projects I'd started on but in each case, couldn't ganer enough material for a CD's worth.

Tracks five to eleven were intended for a mix based on variations of the All Blues riff. Tracks 14,15 & 16 seemed to share an vaguely Caledonian feel (tartan -gettit?). For the opening three tracks, I once again have to thank Nick F. The Cale / Riley pick was extracted from his Ex Velvets & Drone Kings mix and inspired me to search out other eccentric piano-based choices.


The Fourtet / Fahey & Rhythm is Rhythm picks bolt the three sections into a passably coherent whole.

The whole kaboodle lasts around 95 minutes -too long to fit on a CD but easy enought o fit on a pod.
Hence the Format.
