For girl garage bands, you're right - the Girls in the Garage series is hard to beat. I like the other two you mention as well. There are many other girl group comps available that I like, even though they're not really garage-y: Joe Meek's girl groups, dimension dolls, a good Dutch comp, and a few that I can't remember right now. If you have time, check out my girly garage mix (This one's for the ladies).
