Comment:

A sampler of newer stuff, except for the closer. I don't think Braxton and Shipp have played together. If I worked on this a little harder, it could probably go around in a circle, but I am satisfied to leave it like this. Particularily because that track with Bailey is so awesome. For that concert, Bailey just wanted to improvise with no predetermined material entering the picture; and Braxton wanted to include some compositional elements to the proceedings. So a compromise was reached, where they broke up the sets into 'areas,' where they would explore the different 'sound forms,' like area 2, which involves staccato sounds and area 6, which is concerned with sustained sounds.
