So frightfully camp it made you laugh
Comment:
80 of my favorite twee, precious, yet disarmingly soulful (in an indie kind of way) minutes from the early '80s Scots popsters that gave Mr. Edwyn Collins (here's to wishing him a swift recovery) his start and a lot of his cachet. Thanks to p the swede for most of these songs. Last track cut: "Out for the Count."Feedback:
Typical.
Nice one, Rob. Edwyn is on the mend, I'm sure you'll be glad to know.
brillinat band
Good stuff Rob!
Nice, I'd really like this one day!
yay finally an orange juice mix!! :) :)
Twee can get annoying real fast. Fortunately, Orange Juice always hit the right nerve with me.
Never heard of them, but the titles look interesting.
As p says 'A BRILLINAT band' indeed
I''ve always considered these guys a poor man's Van Halen, but still worthy of the single artist mix. Lots of great selections, but I kinda miss the presence of "What Presence"
Very nice! I hate twee but Orange Juice transcends mere tweeness.
