TWINKIE SUSHI
Comment:
31 London Symphony Orchestra A Day In The Life
A birthday present for joey de vivre.
The recipe:
Items Needed:
3 Hostess Twinkies
Assorted dried fruits
Assorted fruity candies
2 green fruit roll ups
Dried mangoes (looks like pickled ginger)
DIRECTIONS:
Slice Hostess Twinkies into pieces about an inch tall. Slice fruit roll ups in strips to be long enough and wide enough to wrap around the Hostess Twinkie pieces. Wrap the fruit roll ups around the Hostess Twinkie pieces. Place dried fruits and candies into the cream filling. Place Twinkie rolls on a plate or in a bento box. Garnish with strips of dried mango to resemble pickled ginger if you wish! Serve with chopsticks if you wish.
Feedback:
Delightful.
Lucky Joey-looks great.
Don't know much here but the Sun Ra track, which I love. Great recipe too. I shall impress all my yuppy friends with it as we discuss fiscal responsibility in american corporations.
This is of course lovely Cruella. Joey's a lucky boy, and you're a girl with impeccable taste.
MOTW!
as mad as a very mad thing, that's just won the world's most mad thing competition! Great mix, and keep up the great goofy work, pal!
Tasty!
Cute recipe - and the picture illustrates it perfectly. Don't know much of this music, but will take your word for it inna heartbeat.
This the best bossa bonanza birthday box a boy could ever hope for!
Hearing is believing, and there is so much on here you just have to hear to believe, well, it's unbelievable! I guess if i spoke Dutch I MIGHT have guessed that "kattenbakpoepie" was a swingtime ode to cat litter boxes set to the tune of "in the Mood". . . but never in a million years would I have foreseen Eartha Kitt singing "Come On A My House" in Japanese!!!
I don't want to spoil TOO many of the surprises for other future listeners who may be reading this, so I'll just say that, when you bite into a Twinkie Sushi, expect the unexpected! (and it's SWEET!)

What a COMBO supersized deal.
Nice, a tutorial on how to make psudo-sushi, and a lovely mix to go with it. p.s. I like the eartha kitt, and spiders song.

eeewwwww! oh wait... awesome! as far as the music goes, i dont know any of it :)
This looks like great fun.
My sister made these for my partner's birthday -- with cupcakes instead of twinkies, but they looks SO COOL! :)
Jim Nabors, Ted Knight, Eartha Kitt, Ann Margaret, and sugary snacks? It's like watching The Carol Burnett Show on a Saturday night when my parents went out, circa 1972! Great mix, cool recipe!
Wow!
You continue to explore uncharted territory (and recipes) with every mix. For that we are eternally (and internally) grateful.
a mix for a man who likes his music and his recipes a bit off-center. Perrrrrfect.
