Comment:

"Loud, obnoxious, funny, bleepy, curious ... Novelty tunes, lo-fi stuff, mashups, covers, noise jams, hilarious interludes, and other annoying delights." A drastic revision of mix 78033, from last year. Pulling it out a couple weeks back, it seemed a little conceptually half-assed. So I took out many of the less out-there tracks, and used the empty space to up the weird quotient and stuff the CD full of even more strange and wonderful shit. I think the end result is a pretty good collection of generally "off" stuff, while remaining enjoyable to just listen to. Thanks to Saaf, from whose "Speak Now..." mix (87382-3) I swiped a couple of gems. (This is actually a CD, clocking in just shy of 80 minutes; AOTM's track limit is 30, though, so I had to submit it as a cassette.)
