Comment:
This was originally subtitled "I Wanna Be Black", but as I was typing in the titles too, everything just seemed to fit just right. Perfect for ending the Foelsch Samplers, within a few months I would be married and living in Guadalajara. This was the ultimate party mix for Wad's apartment. As Tim would say, "it's a beautiful thing." I think Wad alwasy wanted to write a short story about sodomizing all the rich people in the world with their own lawn jockeys, at least I'm sure we talking about that as Uncle Remus filled out side 1. I'm going to have to listen to this again, God, it looks just perfect, before it gets too mellow, something, whether Otis, Sonny Boy or Jimi come on to liven things up. Amazing what coffee, Kahlua and a little mota can do.Feedback:
Fine stuff, loads I love here. The opening four on Side 2 kick major ass! And one of my favourite VU tracks, nice...
Proto-Gutbucket indeed! Too many good picks to list 'em, but love the Johnny Thunders track for starters...
Fantastic.
