Comment:
I want to thank no borders who commented on my last mix (1972-73 Revisited) regarding my selection of Bread and Ann Murray for that period. I was going to select Bread's "Make it With You" and Ann Murray's "Snowbird" for this mix, but noborders got me to change my mind (although I find guilty pleasure in hearing some of Bread's songs).Feedback:
Nice mix of songs. I agree with you on Bread, I like them also.
Looks good.
Ditto steelkillie!
Love it Joe, especially 8-14.
Nice.
Fine mix - I especially like Pacific G&E, Brotherhood of Man and that kickin' Tempations cut.
This looks great! With or Without Bread...
Cool mix Joe.
Nice!
Hey, Joe, gotta go with what you like. Personally, I'd rather have hot spikes driven through my eyeballs than listen to Anne Murray or Bread, but it's your mix, you should make it the way you want it. Besides, some of the best mixes neatly juxtapose songs viewed by some as truly crappy with critical faves, and therein lies the joy. Or maybe I'm just rationalizing my love for a well-placed Neil Diamond/Sonic Youth segue.
looks good - Bread would have been a pain (boom! boom! - too long in France)
